Job Title: Facilities Engineer

Role Overview
The Facilities Engineer (Contingent) provides onsite facilities support for Indianapolis locations. This contingent role supports safe, compliant, and reliable facility operations by coordinating routine maintenance activities, supporting vendor work, and assisting with EHS related facility tasks under the direction of site leadership. This position does not include people management responsibilities and operates within the Product defined by the staffing agreement.

Key Responsibilities
Facilities & Site Support
"Perform and coordinate routine facilities tasks including repairs, inspections, preventive maintenance activities, and work order support across both sites.
"Support day to day operation of building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing) by coordinating service requests and documenting issues for escalation.
"Conduct facility walkthroughs to identify maintenance needs and safety concerns; document, address, and communicate findings to site leadership.
"Maintenance and Operations: Oversee the preventative and corrective maintenance of building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire suppression, and security systems. Coordinate external contractors and provide innovative alternatives to improve reliability
"Troubleshooting and Repair: Diagnose and resolve issues related to facility equipment and infrastructure promptly minimize downtime and disruption.
"Project Management: Plan, manage, and execute facilities-related projects, such as renovations, system upgrades, and new installations, ensuring adherence to safety & quality standards, timelines, and budgets
"Strategic Planning: Contribute to long-term facilities planning, including capital improvement projects and space utilization strategies
Vendor Coordination
"Manage the selection of vendors and contractors based on a well-defined Product of work. Manage on site activities for approved third party service providers (e.g., janitorial, landscaping, waste management, HVAC).
"Monitor contractor presence to ensure work is completed safely and per site expectations; escalate concerns to the OpCo EHS & Facilities site manager.
EHS & Compliance Support
"Ensure all facility operations comply with local, state, and federal regulations, building codes, and health and safety standards. Conduct regular safety inspections and implement corrective actions.
"Support site EHS programs by assisting with inspections, concern reporting follow up, and basic documentation.
"Assist with hazardous and non hazardous waste handling coordination and recycling activities as directed.
"Support emergency preparedness activities (e.g., drills, equipment checks, signage) under the guidance of site EHS leadership.
Administrative & Logistics Support
"Maintain facilities logs, inspection records, PM system data, service, and project documentation as assigned.
"Support continuous improvement projects and events.
Required Qualifications
"Bachelor s degree in Facilities, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or related field
"5 years of prior experience in facilities project management, facilities maintenance, or building operations support.
"Working knowledge of building systems and general maintenance practices.
"Ability to follow site procedures, safety requirements, and documented work instructions.
"Strong organizational skills and ability to manage tasks across multiple locations.
"Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) or similar tools.

Physical Requirements
"Ability to frequently lift, carry, push, or pull up to 20 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds.
"Ability to stand, walk, climb, bend, and perform hands on facilities tasks in an industrial or office environment.
