Position Summary

\n

\n

The Facilities Project Engineer is responsible for supporting and managing facility improvement and construction projects, including building renovations, site upgrades, and infrastructure enhancements (e.g., lobby, courtyard, and plant improvements).

\n

\n

This role requires an engineering background and focuses on coordinating contractors, vendors, and design teams to ensure projects are executed safely, on time, and within budget.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and support facility improvement and construction projects from planning through completion
• \n
• Coordinate with contractors, architects, engineers, and vendors
• \n
• Review and manage RFIs, submittals, drawings, and change orders
• \n
• Track project schedules, budgets, and deliverables
• \n
• Support permitting, inspections, and compliance with building codes
• \n
• Conduct site visits to monitor progress and resolve field issues
• \n
• Assist with procurement, vendor coordination, and contract execution
• \n
• Provide project updates and reporting to leadership
• \n

Qualifications

\n

• \n
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, or related REQUIRED)
• \n
• 2+ years of experience in construction, facilities, or building improvement projects
• \n
• Experience with renovations, tenant improvements, or facility upgrades strongly preferred
• \n
• Familiarity with AutoCAD, Procore, or similar tools
• \n
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills
• \n
