We are looking for a talented Facilities Engineer- Manager to join our team specializing in Facilities for our Corporate organization in Seymour, IN .

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

  • Ensure reliable, efficient facility operations by overseeing critical building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire/life safety, and structural), minimizing downtime and disruptions.

  • Lead complex renovation and infrastructure projects, ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery while maintaining quality across MEP and structural disciplines.

  • Drive operational excellence by managing repairs and maintenance initiatives that extend asset life and reduce long-term costs.

  • Strengthen vendor performance by overseeing contractors, ensuring adherence to safety, compliance, and project standards.

  • Enhance team capability by training and mentoring Facilities Engineers and technicians on advanced maintenance, repairs, and safety best practices.

  • Build a high-performing team by providing leadership and direction to Facilities Engineers and technical staff, fostering accountability and continuous improvement.

  • Improve safety and compliance by reinforcing adherence to regulatory requirements and facility safety standards across all operations.

  • Optimize facility performance and business continuity by proactively identifying risks, implementing preventative maintenance strategies, and driving continuous improvement efforts.

  • Facilities Design and Development - Plans and manages the design of facilities considering the requirements and needs of owners and occupants of the facility; manages and supports site construction activities in compliance to building standards.

  • Facility Technology Management - Plans, directs and manages facility management business and operational technologies; evaluates, implements and operates integrated workplace management systems; conducts assessments and collaborates on facility management technology needs analysis including audio, visual, and Information Technology capacity and phone systems.

  • Project Management - Establishes and maintains the balance of scope, schedule and resources for a temporary effort (a "project"). Ensures results/impact from temporary effort are fully realized as possible.

Education, Licenses, Certifications:

  • College, university, or equivalent degree required

  • Significant Level of relevant work experience required

The Role

We're seeking a passionate and dedicated Facilities Engineering Resource who brings strong decision-making and expertise to the table. In this role, youll be responsible for being a SME for our Southern Indiana campus and related infrastructure.

What You'll Be Doing

Develops/reviews specification, work with vendors to quote, builds story for and gain approval, and manage tasks related to various projects such as equipment upgrades, remodeling, etc.

Oversee operation of utilities and help plant facility managers deliver consistent and services.

Work with internal customers to deliver projects according to schedule timing and budget.

Oversee and make improvements to building management systems for control of plant lighting, HVAC control, and compressed air.

Capital project management of projects.

Management of outside contractor work.

Work with HSE groups to help Energy management and CO2 reduction activities.

Roadmap planning for facilities.

Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and safe manner

Additional duties as assigned

What We're Looking For

Associate or Bachelors Degree (Preferred) in Engineering or Engineering Technology (mechanical/industrial/electrical(Preferred)/construction management)

5+ years hands-on experience in industrial setting

Strong technical experience with troubleshooting capability and willingness to work hands-on

Strong work ethic, intrinsically motivated, ability to organize work and multi-task

Computer skills, including the ability to prepare thorough, concise reports and justifications

Ability to work professionally with all levels of the organization
