The Alaka'ina Foundation Family of Companies (FOCs) is looking for a Facilities Engineer to provide support to our customer, Program Manager Training Systems (PM TRASYS) out of Orlando, Florida. The ideal candidate will be a Facilities Engineer with DOD Acquisition experience.

DESCRIPTION OF RESPONSIBILITIES: Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Performing Site Surveys and delivering Site Survey Reports to include Automated Target Ranges. Preparing Facility and Target System SOWs, PWS, Specification and CDRL Inputs. Preparing Facility Cost Estimates. Reviewing and commenting on Facility Design Automated Target Systems Drawings, Calculations and Submittals. Supporting Facility Coordination with Public Works, Base Personnel, Naval Facilities Engineering Command (NAVFAC), Facility Engineering Acquisition Division (FEAD) and the Resident Officer in Charge of Construction (ROICC) Offices. Reviewing and commenting on CDRL Deliverables (Trainer Facility Report, Safety Assessment Reports, Preliminary Design Review (PDR), Critical Design Review (CDR) and Operations and Maintenance Manuals). Participate in Project Integrated Product Teams (IPTs). Author and manage Requirements Traceability Matrices (RTMs) and Requirements Traceability Verification Matrices (RTVMs) to ensure technical accuracy and project alignment. Review project scopes and infrastructure requirements to ensure long-term interoperability and accommodate large-scale technology/target lifecycle refreshes. Support onsite test events to verify that delivered systems and facilities meet strict SOW technical specifications, safety standards, and other requirements. Support pre-award and post-award conferences alongside standard IPTs to ensure mission alignment throughout the full acquisition lifecycle.

REQUIRED DEGREE/EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION: Bachelor's degree and four plus (4+) years' experience desired. (Work experience can substitute for degree(s) Professional Engineer (PE) certification highly preferred.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE: Demonstrated experience in electrical or facility engineering is preferred. Experience with government targeting systems or computer simulations is preferred. Experience with reviewing engineering change proposals (ECPs) or requirements documentation is preferred. Experience with RSMeans software is preferred. Experience working with public works on military bases is preferred. Experience in Program Management or working in a Program Management shop. Experience with AutoCAD and/or SPECtrum is preferred. Demonstrated experience in systems engineering processes, specifically dealing with requirements management, technology lifecycle refresh, and integrating modernized systems into existing training infrastructure. Experience developing or utilizing Requirements Traceability Matrices (RTM/RTVM). Demonstrated experience conducting or supporting Test and Evaluation (T&E), specifically Government Acceptance Tests (GAT) or system validation.

REQUIRED CITIZENSHIP AND CLEARANCE: Must be a U.S. Citizen Must have an active Secret clearance.
