The position of Facilities Engineer is responsible for overseeing the design, maintenance, and reliability of critical facility systems and utilities-including chiller systems, air compressors, nitrogen systems, HVAC, and fire protection-across three manufacturing sites. This role ensures continuous operation, regulatory compliance, and energy efficiency while leading cross-functional initiatives and multi-site projects.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and standardize preventative maintenance programs across all sites.
  • Analyze system performance data to drive operational efficiency.
  • Ensure all systems meet local regulatory and safety standards.
  • Collaborate with senior maintenance staff on various projects.
  • Maintain accurate facility records and prepare reports for management.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by leadership to support the overall needs of the team and company

Qualifications:

  • Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.

Skills:

  • Working knowledge of NFPA fire alarm and suppression standards and applicable OSHA/EPA regulatory requirements.
  • Strong root cause analysis and reliability-centered maintenance skills.
  • Proficiency with CMMS platforms and the ability to analyze system performance data to identify trends and drive efficiency.
  • Ability to manage external vendors and coordinate across site teams to maintain uptime and compliance.
  • Strong project management, communication, and organizational skills.

Physical Requirements & Work Environment:

  • Work is performed in manufacturing, distribution, and mechanical-room environments with exposure to noise, temperature variation, and moving equipment.
  • Must be able to access elevated platforms, mechanical mezzanines, and confined equipment spaces as required.
  • Travel between the three supported manufacturing sites is required.
