    We are currently looking for a Facilities Engineering Intern to join our team in Decherd, TN. This internship offers the opportunity to work alongside experienced and highly skilled facilities engineers in an elite powertrain manufacturing facility that supports global operations. You will gain hands-on experience supporting critical building systems, improving maintenance processes, participating in capital projects, and contributing to initiatives that enhance safety, quality, cost, and operational performance.

    A Day in the Life:

    • Support efforts to improve maintenance procedures and best practices for facility and building systems.
    • Develop, implement, and commission projects that positively impact safety, quality, cost, and delivery objectives.
    • Assist with setting up and maintaining critical spare parts within the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
    • Track, analyze, and improve key performance indicators (KPIs) related to facility operations and business objectives.
    • Participate in expense planning, capital planning, and continuous improvement initiatives.

    Who We're Looking For:

    Required:

    • Must be currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate degree program in Engineering or a related technical field.
    • Students entering their Junior or Senior year at the start of the upcoming academic term.
    • Strong work ethic and willingness to take initiative.
    • Creative thinker with a continuous improvement mindset.
    • Eager to learn and develop technical and professional skills.
    • Adaptable and able to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
    • Inquisitive mindset with strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
    • GPA of 3.0 or above (Candidates will be required to provide an official or unofficial transcript during the application process for verification.)
    • Ability to perform work onsite at Decherd, TN.
