Job Summary:
The Facilities Environmental Compliance Program Manager is a strategic leadership role responsible for owning and continuously advancing the environmental compliance program across PowerSecure’s growing portfolio of manufacturing sites (Durham DI campuses, PowerFab, Ball Ground, Waco Warehouse, and future expansions). This position provides direct supervision of the Facilities Environmental Compliance Team and serves as the company’s primary authority on all facility-related environmental permitting, regulatory compliance, and risk management.
The successful candidate will proactively lead facility permitting and compliance efforts, anticipate regulatory impacts of rapid business growth, and drive measurable program improvements while managing people, consultants, and budgets in a fast-paced environment. Additional responsibilities include delivering accurate Southern Company corporate reporting, coordinating data
requests, and supporting manufacturing-related environmental initiatives.
Success in this role requires strategic foresight, full ownership of facility environmental programs, proven team leadership, building and maintaining strong internal and external partner relationships, demonstrating and promoting a culture of compliance, and the ability to operate with confident and credible presence in a dynamic, high-visibility setting.
