Facilities/Equipment Repair Technician

Summary:

• Location: New York, NY
• Work Mode: Local
• Schedule: Monday through Friday (Rotating Weekends), 3PM-11PM

Responsibilities:

• Perform routine tasks to maintain a sanitary patient area and ensure neat conditions as per established procedures.
• Greet patients, visitors, and employees courteously, identifying self and explaining presence.
• Transport supplies and equipment for cleaning from utility/equipment center to assigned work area.
• Maintain supplies and equipment/furniture by the patient bedside in an orderly manner.
• Transport dirty equipment to specified cleaning area and clean according to infection control regulations.
• Receive deliveries to replenish cleaning and repair supplies and restock specialty carts.
• Maintain a written log of supply status and manage broken equipment for repair.
• Remove instruments and equipment from patient rooms for transportation and cleaning.
• Clean various items, such as carts and shelves, using assigned cleaning solutions.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Education: High School Diploma or GED
• Basic computer knowledge
• Ability to read, write, and follow simple written and oral directives
• Prior Central Sterile experience
