SUMMARY: To provide repairs, maintenance, and upkeep of the Tribally-owned buildings and surrounding grounds (lawn, parking lot, and support buildings).
ESSENTIAL DUTIES and/or RESPONSIBILITIESinclude the following:
- Oversee the maintenance of all Tribal buildings and equipment.
- Perform inspections and oversee maintenance work to ensure quality.
- Inform the supervisor of equipment or materials needed for the department.
- Ensure proper lawn care and maintenance.
- Receive work orders from the facilities supervisor.
- Handle plumbing needs in the facility.
- Address electrical needs in the facility.
- Conduct painting, carpentry, and varnishing tasks in the facility.
- Troubleshoot machinery and equipment to ensure safety and proper functionality.
- Maintain clean and hygienic conditions throughout tribal premises and facilities.
- Repair potential safety hazards to prevent injuries.
- Maintain a log of tribally owned property and equipment use.
- Perform routine maintenance around designated buildings.
- Assist with sidewalk maintenance in the community for safety.
- Collaborate with other departments for maintenance needs.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
- High school diploma or GED
- Two (2) years' experience in related field with knowledge of building trades preferred.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, and/or REGISTRATIONS:
- Must have valid Nebraska driver's license and be insurable.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, and/or ABILITIES:
- Must be familiar with Life Safety Code JCAHO requirements and State Health Department regulations.
