Qualifications:
Background and Skills
The incumbent is required to have a High School Diploma or GED. The candidate will have 1-3 years of industrial cleaning experience in a manufacturing environment.
This position is concerned with a variety of areas in our Manufacturing facility. Must be able to work unsupervised, efficiently and safely. Ability to learn, and perform all duties required of the position. Demonstrated ability of cooperation, leadership and willingness to assist fellow employees in a team-based work environment.
Responsibilities:
Job Purpose:
The incumbent will be responsible for the safe daily cleaning and supply replenishing of restrooms and breakrooms, trash and recyclable material removal, and other general custodial work.
Assignments will include daily completion of cleaning tasks per the cleaning checklist.
Actively / proactively looks for ways to improve the facility in both appearance and functionality.
Improves the work environment of other employees by ensuring that supplies in breakrooms and restrooms are consistently stocked and available.
Maintain appropriate stock of maintenance supplies related to tasks and responsibilities. (notifying supervisor to reorder, as required).
Responsible for performing required audits in addition to cleaning, other efficiency management programs. Responsible for observing safety precautions at all times. Must work in a manner that is safe while continuously ensuring quality, production and performance expectations are met.

Position requires EXTENSIVE walking throughout the shift, up and down stairs
Must Wear Jeans/Khakis no shorts/leggings/sweats etc.
Must wear steel toe/composite shoes
Must be able to wear Bump Cap or hard hat correctly when on the floor.
