Description

Primarily remote — ~50% onsite first month, then 1 week onsite per month thereafter.Must be authorized to work in the U.S. — no visa sponsorship available.We're looking for a Facilities Instrumentation Engineering Owner's Representative to play a key role in delivering cutting‑edge semiconductor manufacturing projects in Boise, ID. You'll act as the technical owner and advocate for Instrumentation and Controls scope during the Tool Installation phase — providing engineering oversight for fire alarm, chemical controls, toxic gas monitoring (TGM) systems, and associated PLCs — in one of the most advanced industrial facilities in the world.Pay: $50.48- $62.50 per hour DOEWhat you'll doProvide engineering and design oversight during installation of semiconductor manufacturing toolsReview and influence instrumentation and controls designs related to factory control systems, fire alarms, chemical controls, and TGM systemsDevelop and review technical specifications for tool installationReview vendor submittals and design deliverables to ensure compliance with requirements and applicable codesCollaborate with facilities, construction, vendors, and internal project teams to ensure successful executionWhat you needBachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or associated degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering from an ABET-accredited university5+ years of experience in engineering design of industrial control systemsStrong knowledge of IFC, IMC, UL, and IEEE standardsExperience selecting and specifying electrical and controls equipment and systemsProven ability to review vendor submittals against contractual and technical requirementsMust pass background check and drug screeningMust be authorized to work in the U.S. — no sponsorship availableNice to haveEIT certification or PE license2+ years of experience with semiconductor manufacturing tools (design, installation, or cleanroom use)Field experience working directly with subcontractors and construction personnelFamiliarity with BIM/CAD tools such as Revit or AutoCAD#J-18808-Ljbffr
