This role owns the daily readiness of the restaurant before doors open. You will ensure all inventory is received, organized, and accurate while maintaining a clean, safe, and fully operational environment.
This is a high-responsibility, high-trust role that directly impacts food quality, speed of service, and team efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
Inventory & Truck Execution
- Receive and unload daily delivery truck
- Accurately verify all items against invoice
- Rotate and organize inventory (FIFO)
- Maintain clean, labeled, and structured storage areas
- Communicate any shortages or discrepancies immediately
Cleaning & Stewardship
- Execute daily cleaning checklist (kitchen, storage, exterior as needed)
- Maintain food safety and cleanliness standards at all times
- Own trash, cardboard, and waste flow systems
- Identify and address cleanliness issues before they become problems
Facilities & Maintenance
- Complete routine maintenance tasks (minor repairs, equipment checks)
- Ensure all equipment is clean, functional, and ready for peak hours
- Escalate larger maintenance needs quickly and clearly
Team Impact
- Set the tone for discipline and readiness each day
- Support kitchen team by creating a clean, organized workspace
- Take ownership of problems and solve them without being asked

- High level of personal discipline and reliability (early mornings are non-negotiable)
- Strong attention to detail (inventory accuracy matters)
- Ability to work independently without supervision
- Physically capable of lifting 30–50 lbs repeatedly
- Takes pride in doing work the right way, not the easy way
