Job Title: Janitorial / Facilities Custodian 2nd Shift

Position Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Janitorial / Facilities Custodian to support cleanliness and overall upkeep within a manufacturing facility in Yucaipa, CA. This role is responsible for maintaining a safe, clean, and organized work environment for production and office areas. Candidates should be team-oriented, dependable, and comfortable working in an industrial setting.
Key Responsibilities
Clean and maintain restrooms, breakrooms, offices, and production areas
Sweep, mop, vacuum, and remove trash and recycling
Restock janitorial and restroom supplies as needed
Follow safety procedures and company policies at all times
Work collaboratively with team members and supervisors to resolve work issues
Report maintenance or safety concerns promptly
Support general facility upkeep as assigned
Knowledge & Abilities
Ability to interpret written and verbal instructions
Basic shop math skills
Ability to work effectively in a team environment
Effective communication skills in English
Forklift certification preferred but not required
Education & Experience
High School Diploma or GED preferred
Previous experience in a manufacturing, warehouse, or facilities environment preferred but not required
Physical Demands
Ability to occasionally push or exert force up to 50 pounds
Good eyesight and hand dexterity
Ability to identify and distinguish colors
Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods
Work Environment
Industrial manufacturing setting
Exposure to noise, moving mechanical parts, oils/solvents, fumes, and odors
Potential exposure that may affect eyes, ears, nose, throat, and/or skin
All work performed within established safety guidelines and PPE requirements
