Job Title: Facilities Technician
Location: Dallas / Hiram / Powder Springs, GA
Pay Rate: $19.50 per hour
Shift: Monday Friday, 3:00 PM 12:00 AM
Role Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Facilities Technician to manage the overall upkeep, repair, and operational efficiency of our local facility and specialized equipment. This role is essential in maintaining a safe, functional environment for our staff and distributors through proactive maintenance and timely repairs.
Core Responsibilities
Preventative Maintenance: Perform routine inspections and servicing of critical systems (HVAC, electrical, and plumbing) to prevent failure and minimize downtime.
Facility Repairs: Execute skilled and semi-skilled repairs including carpentry, painting, drywall, and floor maintenance.
Equipment Upkeep: Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues with facility-related machinery such as compressors, pumps, and motors.
Vendor Coordination: Oversee outside contractors for major specialized repairs or services (e.g., landscaping).
Grounds & Safety: Maintain clean and safe interior/exterior areas, perform security checks, and strictly adhere to OSHA safety standards.
Key Requirements
Experience: 15 years of hands-on experience in building trades or industrial maintenance.
Technical Skills: Proficiency with hand/power tools and the ability to diagnose mechanical or electrical malfunctions.
Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, and climb ladders for extended periods; must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
Certifications: HVAC (EPA Universal), electrical, or forklift certifications are preferred but not mandatory.
Compliance & Gear
Safety: Steel-toed boots are required at all times.
Screening: Must be able to pass a comprehensive background check and drug test prior to employment
