Employment Status: Full-Time

Pay Range: $22.25

JOB SUMMARY

Conduct repairs to Goodwill properties, respond to facility maintenance requests and ensure repairs and maintenance actions are conducted in a safe, timely manner.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Responsible for light plumbing, electrical, carpentry and other minor repairs at Goodwill properties
  • Respond to trouble calls at Goodwill properties
  • Safely operate all maintenance equipment according to manufacturer's guidelines, agency safety policies and procedures, and occupational safety procedures
  • Complete required paperwork in a timely manner
  • Maintain maintenance work orders
  • Notify Maintenance Supervisor when inventory of maintenance equipment and supplies needs ordered
  • Meet or exceed the attendance expectations for this position
  • Actively maintain a safe, healthy, and positive environment that promotes the physical and emotional well-being of employees, customers, and participants
  • Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

  • Two (2) years maintenance experience required
  • High school diploma or G.E.D. required

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

  • Must maintain valid driver's license and be insurable

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

  • Must be able to follow OSHA safety guidelines
  • Work a flexible work schedule including evenings and weekends as necessary
  • Proper operation and routine maintenance/ repair of equipment

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Medium

Lifting 70 pounds maximum with frequent lifting and/or carrying objects weighing up to 25 pounds

WORK ENVIRONMENT

Moderate

Occasionally exposed to extreme atmospheric conditions (temperature, noise fumes, dust, etc.)
