Facilities Maintenance Associate (Day Porter)

Pay Rate: $17-$17.65
Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 7:30 a.m.–5:30 p.m., Friday, 7:30 a.m.–4:30 p.m., with every other Friday off
Description of Position:
Do you have experience as a Day Porter that is a Facilities Maintenance Associate. Our client is looking for a Day Porter to assist with maintaining our properties. This is a temporary six-month assignment. This position requires our candidate to maintain the property grounds daily and report any issues to Management. The Day Porter will play a vital role in keeping the facilities clean and functional. The ideal candidate will have strong cleaning skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.
Job Responsibilities:
- Performs overall upkeep of the grounds including but not limited to removing trash from the grounds, gathering and emptying trash and recycling bins, cleaning sidewalks, parking lots, and carports.
- Ensuring all areas are clean (i.e. by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming).
- Cleaning graffiti.
- Cleaning of grounds, amenities, building exteriors and trash areas (trash rooms and trash enclosures), parking lots and other community areas.
- Removes trash from community perimeter on a daily basis.
- Prepares property trash for city pick-up.
- Maintaining curb appeal.

Experience Required:
- Good hand-eye coordination
- Show a track record of reliability in their work history.
- Be able to communicate in English (written and verbal)
- Work on their feet for the duration of their shift and lift and bend (lifting up to 25 lbs)
