Job Summary Under the direction of the Sr. Director of Facilities, the Facilities Maintenance Coordinator is responsible for the upkeep and preventative maintenance of all agency buildings and grounds. This position takes a lead role in coordinating and performing day-to-day maintenance activities, including work order management, repairs, and preventative maintenance. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, agency vehicles, buildings, grounds, and agency equipment. Key Responsibilities •Identifies, assigns, logs, and performs and/or coordinates routine preventative maintenance, including interior, exterior, mechanical, and other equipment. •Identifies, assigns, and performs and/or coordinates building maintenance, including, but not limited to, structural repairs, cosmetic repairs, equipment repairs, and furniture repairs. •Troubleshoots maintenance incidents as they arise and responds immediately to ensure safety and limit further damage or deterioration. •Maintains the agency's key and lock infrastructure. •Completes and/or coordinates maintenance of agency vehicles. •Ensures proper routine vehicle inspections and preventative maintenance are completed and comprehensively documented. •Ensures all agency vehicles are safe for operation. •Identifies the tools and supplies necessary to perform duties and purchases them with approval from the Sr. Director of Facilities. •Coordinates and maintains a current inventory of tools and equipment. •Maintains Safety Data Sheets (SDS) in accordance with the Michigan Occupational Safety and Health Act (MIOSHA) standards and regulations. •Safely handles, labels, stores, and stocks cleaning supplies and chemicals. •Performs routine monthly maintenance, safety, and fire safety system inspections as outlined by the Michigan Catholic Conference Self-Inspection Program. •Identifies, coordinates, and oversees proper grounds upkeep. •Identifies and resolves safety and cleanliness issues as they arise. •Assists with donations, including storage, pickup, and distribution as needed. •Coordinates the setup, takedown, and cleanup of agency events. •Assists with coordinating and/or supervising volunteer work events. •Moves furniture, equipment, and supplies as needed. •Assists with other agency programs as assigned by the Sr. Director of Facilities. •Serves as a backup for coordinating and scheduling housing setups when needed to ensure the agency's mission is accomplished. •Performs other duties as assigned. Other Duties and Responsibilities •Attend meetings and trainings as required. •Participate in emergency response and after-hours calls as required. Qualifications •Minimum of three to five years of experience performing maintenance functions in a large facility, including mechanical systems, HVAC equipment, cosmetic repairs, structural repairs, and preventative maintenance. •Possesses the skills and willingness to perform basic repairs to agency mechanical systems, HVAC equipment, major appliances, and key/lock systems, utilizing vendor assistance only when authorized by the CCIEC Sr. Director of Facilities.
