Facilities Maintenance Technician
We are seeking a reliable and hands-on Facilities Maintenance Technician to support the upkeep, repair, and operation of a manufacturing facility. This role is responsible for performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting building systems, and ensuring equipment and facility infrastructure remain safe and operational. The ideal candidate will have experience with mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and general building maintenance in an industrial environment. Key Responsibilities:
Perform routine maintenance and repairs on facility equipment, machinery, and building systems.
Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and plumbing issues.
Complete preventive maintenance tasks according to established schedules.
Maintain HVAC systems, lighting, and facility infrastructure.
Respond to maintenance requests and emergency repairs in a timely manner.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
Maintain accurate maintenance records and work orders.
Assist with facility improvement projects and equipment installations.
Qualifications:
2+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing, industrial, or facilities environment.
Working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
Ability to read technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a physically demanding environment.
Basic computer skills and experience with maintenance tracking systems preferred.
