Position Summary:
The Facilities Technician will be responsible for the repair, maintenance, and troubleshooting of various systems and equipment in our facility. This includes HVAC systems, hydraulic plumbing, industrial machinery, and other equipment, ensuring all systems are operating optimally.
Key Responsibilities:
HVAC Repairs: Diagnose and repair heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems to ensure comfort and safety within the facility.
Hydraulic Plumbing Repairs: Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic plumbing systems as necessary.
Paint & Roofing Repairs: Perform basic repairs and touch-ups on facility paint and roofing.
Basic Electrical Maintenance: Assist with electrical system repairs and basic maintenance tasks to ensure safety and functionality.
Industrial Mechanical Maintenance: Perform basic mechanical maintenance on industrial machinery and equipment, ensuring all systems run efficiently.
Conveyor Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on industrial conveyors, ensuring operational efficiency.
Machine and Equipment Lubrication: Lubricate machinery and equipment per maintenance schedules to reduce wear and improve longevity.
Forklift Operation: Operate forklifts safely and efficiently to move materials and equipment as needed.
Scissor & Boom Lift Operation: Operate scissor lifts and boom lifts for maintenance and repair activities, following all safety protocols.
Requirements:
Certification to operate forklifts, scissor lifts, and boom lifts.
Proven experience in facility maintenance or a similar role.
Strong troubleshooting and repair skills, particularly in HVAC, hydraulic plumbing, electrical systems, and industrial machinery.
Basic knowledge of industrial mechanical systems and conveyor maintenance.
Ability to work independently, with minimal supervision.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
Ability to lift and carry heavy materials and equipment.
