About the Opportunity
We are looking for an experienced, hands-on Facilities Manager to support a growing multi-unit restaurant group in the Atlanta area.
This is a field-based role for someone who understands restaurant facilities, equipment, building systems, vendor coordination, and urgent repair needs. The Facilities Manager will help keep restaurant operations running smoothly by troubleshooting issues, performing hands-on repairs when appropriate, managing vendors, and maintaining strong facility standards across multiple locations.
This is not a desk-only position. The right person will be comfortable being in the field, diagnosing problems, responding quickly, and partnering directly with restaurant leaders to minimize downtime.
What You'll Do
- Support facilities, maintenance, and repair needs across multiple restaurant locations
- Troubleshoot restaurant equipment, HVAC, refrigeration, plumbing, electrical, and general building systems
- Perform hands-on repairs and preventative maintenance when appropriate
- Respond quickly to urgent repair needs, service interruptions, and facility-related emergencies
- Coordinate vendor and contractor work while monitoring cost, quality, response time, and completion
- Partner with restaurant leadership to prioritize repairs and minimize operational disruption
- Develop, maintain, and improve preventative maintenance programs
- Inspect locations and identify facility issues before they become larger operational problems
- Ensure restaurants maintain strong standards for safety, cleanliness, functionality, and operational readiness
- Track maintenance requests, repair status, vendor follow-up, and recurring facility concerns
- Support equipment-related troubleshooting, service coordination, and repair planning
- Continue building technical knowledge through vendor training, equipment education, and certification opportunities
- Travel between restaurant locations as needed to support field operations
- Perform additional facilities and maintenance duties as assigned
What We're Looking For
- Restaurant facilities and maintenance experience required
- HVAC and refrigeration experience required
- Strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on troubleshooting ability
- Ability to diagnose facility, equipment, and building system issues in the field
- Experience managing vendors, contractors, repair timelines, and service costs
- Comfortable performing hands-on repairs when appropriate
- Strong organization, follow-through, and sense of urgency
- Dependable, self-motivated, and able to work independently
- Valid driver's license required
- Willingness to travel between restaurant locations
- Interest in continued vendor training, equipment certifications, and technical development
- Strong communication skills when working with restaurant leaders, vendors, and internal teams
- Ability to support fast-paced restaurant operations with professionalism and urgency
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary up to $110,000, based on experience
