Facilities & Maintenance Manager

A medical device manufacturer is hiring a Facilities & Maintenance Manager to drive excellence across its facilities and maintenance functions. You'll lead a safety-first program covering preventive maintenance, capital equipment, and controlled environments, while partnering closely with Operations and Engineering. What you'll be doing

  • Lead planning, scheduling, and completion of preventive maintenance for mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and electronic equipment
  • Manage critical spare parts inventory and tooling upkeep to prevent production disruptions
  • Support validation and qualification (IQ/OQ/PQ) protocols for equipment
  • Partner with Project Engineers on infrastructure, plant layout, and new equipment installations
  • Design and conduct safety, environmental, and hazardous waste training programs
  • Manage controlled environmental areas to ISO Class 7 and Class 8 requirements
  • Prepare HSES reports and maintain air emissions and hazardous waste permits

About you

  • Be able to do the job as described
  • Experience maintaining controlled environments
  • Background in electrical, electronics, mechanical, pneumatics, and/or hydraulics
  • Medical device manufacturing and extrusion equipment experience a plus
  • Six Sigma or Lean Manufacturing credentials a plus
