Manage all activities of the Facilities Department (Maintenance and Utilities) to support each department at the plant and ensure fulfillment of Company goals.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Manage the Facilities Department to support:
o Production Growth
· Develop and maintain cross-training, apprenticeship programs, and equipment seminars
· Support the Corporate R&D Department
· Participate in all facility, equipment, and utility matters
· Daily communications with direct reports
· Daily communications with Production Department
· Communications with all Plant departments, as necessary
· Participate in Facility audits at all Boar’s Head Production Plants
· Maintain Facility Department staff through recruitment and job appraisal
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
· Four Year College Degree in Engineering preferred
· Minimum of 5 years Maintenance or Utility Management experience
· Certified Reliability Leader (CRL) or Certified Maintenance & Reliability Professional (CMRP) preferred
· Strong Project Management Skills
· Experience with Oracle EAM or other Computerized Maintenance Management Systems required
· Excellent technical, oral, and written communication skills
· RCA, A3, 5Why or similar problem solving experience desired
· Food manufacturing experience strongly preferred
· Process Safety Management training or knowledge of PSM preferred
· Contractor management experience
