JOB SUMMARY: Manages maintenance and repairs to structures on the farm and essential equipment, associated budgeting, material sourcing and procurement, and leads all safety aspects of all LSG operations.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
QUALIFICATIONS:
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
Must have at least 5 years of experience in Maintenance and similar roles.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
At least 5 years of managerial experience leading teams to accomplish the roles and responsibilities.
LANGUAGE SKILLS:
Excellent verbal and written communication in English and Spanish required.
The ability to read a limited number of two- and three-syllable words and to recognize similarities and differences between words and between series of numbers.
Ability to print and speak simple sentences.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:
Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's.
Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance1.
REASONING ABILITY:
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one- or two-step instructions. Ability to deal with standardized situations with only occasional or no variables.

Some employees will also be required to climb onto various structures like greenhouses and warehouses for the purposes of repair and maintenance. This will require special training and individuals who are not afraid to work at heights that occasionally go as high as 20 feet.
