Facilities Maintenance
1 Opening | $15–$18/Hour | Full-Time or Part-Time | Based in Maysville
We are looking for a dependable, hardworking Facilities Maintenance team member who takes pride in their work and enjoys staying busy. This position supports the upkeep, organization, maintenance, and day-to-day needs of multiple business locations.
This is a hands-on position with a wide variety of responsibilities. You may spend part of the day performing general maintenance, another part maintaining the property, and another handling deliveries, moving materials, organizing storage areas, or completing errands.
One position is available, with the opportunity for either full-time or part-time hours. Full-time hours and higher pay within the 15–18/hour range will be based on experience, abilities, and the level of work you are capable of performing. Candidates with actual construction and advanced maintenance skills—such as building a wall, tiling a bathroom, operating equipment, or performing similar skilled work—may qualify for more hours and higher pay.
The right person will be comfortable working independently, taking direction, managing their time, and recognizing what needs to be done without requiring constant supervision.
What You'll Do
- Maintain the cleanliness and appearance of buildings, offices, restrooms, common areas, storage areas, and workspaces
- Perform heavy-duty cleaning of buildings, equipment, floors, and facility areas
- Pressure wash sidewalks, parking lots, buildings, dumpsters, equipment, and exterior surfaces
- Mow grass, weed eat, pull weeds, trim shrubs, and maintain the appearance of properties
- Sweep parking lots, sidewalks, entrances, and outdoor areas
- Organize storage areas, shelves, supplies, equipment, and inventory
- Move boxes, furniture, equipment, materials, and supplies between locations as needed
- Load and unload deliveries and materials
- Drive a company box truck to transport equipment, supplies, materials, and other items between locations
- Run errands, pick up supplies, deliver materials, and complete other assigned tasks
- Travel between multiple business locations as needed
- Perform basic handyman and general maintenance tasks
- Perform skilled construction or renovation work based on experience and ability
- Build or repair walls, install tile, and complete other construction projects when qualified
- Safely operate equipment and machinery when trained and qualified
- Hang TVs, pictures, shelves, and other fixtures
- Assemble and disassemble furniture and equipment
- Repair or replace broken furniture and other basic items
- Change door codes and assist with basic access-related needs
- Replace doors, door handles, locks, and other basic hardware
- Replace light bulbs, filters, and other routine maintenance items
- Assist with minor repairs and upkeep of buildings and property
- Keep supplies organized and notify management when items need to be replenished
- Remove trash and properly dispose of waste and unwanted materials
- Help prepare locations for events, projects, moves, openings, closings, or other business needs
- Follow daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance and property-upkeep checklists
- Identify and report maintenance, safety, or property concerns
- Follow all company safety procedures and instructions
- Perform other duties as assigned based on the needs of the business
Requirements
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to drive a box truck or willingness to learn
- Ability to travel between multiple locations
- Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull 50+ pounds
- Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions
- Ability to safely operate lawn equipment, pressure washers, and basic power tools
- Previous handyman, maintenance, landscaping, warehouse, janitorial, facilities, construction, or similar experience preferred
- Construction or skilled-trade experience is a plus
- Experience building walls, installing tile, operating equipment, or performing similar construction work is a strong plus
- Must be clean, well-groomed, and present a professional appearance
- Must take pride in maintaining a clean and orderly work environment
- Self-motivated and able to stay productive while working independently
- Able to follow instructions and complete tasks without constant supervision
- Strong attention to detail

- Must be able to pass a background check

This position offers flexibility between part-time and full-time work, with full-time hours and higher pay based on experience, skill level, and abilities. Someone who can perform more advanced maintenance or actual construction work may be given additional hours and compensation within the 15–18/hour range.
The position requires someone who can be trusted to work independently and take ownership of the responsibilities assigned to them. You'll need to be comfortable moving from one task to another, traveling between locations, and handling both routine and unexpected needs as they arise.
