The IAFF Center of Excellence is a first-of-its-kind behavioral health treatment center created specifically for fire fighters and first responders struggling with PTSD, substance use, and other behavioral health challenges. Every member of our team plays an important role in supporting recovery and healing for those who dedicate their lives to helping others.
Located just outside Washington, D.C., the IAFF Center of Excellence provides specialized behavioral health treatment exclusively for members of the fire service community. Designed with healing in mind, our campus includes serene outdoor spaces, modern fitness amenities, and thoughtfully designed facilities that support recovery and wellness.
Our multidisciplinary team understands the unique demands and stressors faced by fire fighters and emergency medical professionals, creating a compassionate and supportive atmosphere for both patients and staff.
The Facilities Maintenance Specialist is responsible for maintaining the interior and exterior of the facility and grounds to ensure a safe, clean, and fully operational environment. This role supports the integrity of the facility by completing maintenance requests, preventative maintenance, and repairs while ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
