The Facilities Maintenance Technician Level 2 works to effectively evaluate, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical breakdowns and electrical/electronic breakdowns as well as systems and components. He/she will utilize controller functions to retrieve error messages to aid problem solving using PLC programs. The Technician must demonstrate an understanding of all maintenance tasks with relation to Access Control systems, BMS, Chillers, Air Compressors, Cooling Towers, Power Systems, HVAC Roofing Systems, Overhead Doors and Docking Equipment, etc.
All tasks will be performed while supporting the policies, goals, and objectives of the company while safely working in a highly automated environment.
Responsibilities
Performs Preventive and Predictive maintenance on production equipment
Effectively troubleshoots failures and works in team environment to determine root causes of failure
Participates in plant shift meeting and continuous improvement activities
Determines spare parts requirements and make recommendations for facility equipment
Identifies and requisitions parts utilizing OEM Service Drawings
Produces drawings and fabricates simple parts in the maintenance / machine shop
Effectively troubleshoots 480V, 3-phase circuits, 120V, 24V, and other control circuits
Assists with motor / moto drive troubleshooting, diagnosis, and repair
Ensures all safety procedures, practices, and regulations are followed before, during, and after the process to foster a positive safety culture by having a safety-first mindset and approach during execution of activities
Based on the nature of the essential functions associated with this role, GreenWood has designated this as a "safety-sensitive" position
Other duties and special projects as assigned
