We are seeking a skilled Facilities Maintenance Technician to support the ongoing operation, maintenance, and improvement of facility systems in a highly technical manufacturing environment. This position is ideal for a self-motivated professional with strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting abilities who can work independently while collaborating with engineering and manufacturing teams.
The successful candidate will help maintain facility infrastructure, support equipment installations, coordinate contractor activities, and ensure safe and efficient facility operations.
Perform skilled and semi-skilled maintenance activities to support facility operations.
Maintain and repair facility mechanical, electrical, chemical, and support systems.
Assist with shipping and receiving activities, including packing and receiving materials.
Coordinate and oversee contractor work to ensure safety, quality, and compliance with site standards.
Partner with Manufacturing and Engineering teams on equipment installations and decommissioning projects.
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, drawings, and technical documentation.
Troubleshoot facility and equipment issues and implement effective solutions.
Maintain accurate maintenance records, procedures, and documentation.
Follow all environmental, health, and safety requirements while working around chemicals, high voltage systems, moving equipment, and other industrial hazards.
3+ years of facilities maintenance experience.
5+ years of experience strongly preferred.
HVAC experience highly preferred.
Experience in facility maintenance, building maintenance, school maintenance, skilled trades, or industrial maintenance environments.
Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting experience.
Semiconductor industry experience or semiconductor equipment installation experience is highly desirable.
Experience supporting one or more of the following systems:
HVAC
Water Purification Systems
Gas Distribution Systems
Chemical Distribution Systems
Waste Treatment Systems
Abatement Systems
Pumps and Chillers
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Associate's Degree in Electronics, Engineering, Industrial Technology, or related field preferred, or equivalent hands-on experience.
Lift and carry up to 35 pounds.
Walk extensively throughout the facility, including 10,000+ steps per shift.
Frequently climb stairs, ladders, and work at elevated heights.
Perform bending, kneeling, crawling, stooping, and reaching.
Work in cleanrooms, confined spaces, and industrial environments.
Wear required PPE including safety glasses, safety shoes, bump caps, and cleanroom garments.
