Job Duties

• Perform routine and preventive maintenance on mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems
• Troubleshoot and repair facility equipment issues
• Handle general maintenance tasks: painting, lighting, minor carpentry
• Inspect systems to ensure safety and compliance
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace
• Communicate maintenance updates to supervisors and teams

Education Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.

Experience Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of facility maintenance experience
• Knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems
• Ability to diagnose and fix maintenance problems independently
• Familiarity with OSHA regulations and safety best practices
• Strong attention to detail and organization

Physical Capabilities

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, climb, kneel, and work in a variety of industrial environments throughout the shift.
• Ability to lift equipment, tools, and replacement parts weighing up to 40 pounds.
• Ability to safely work around moving machinery while following established safety procedures.
• Manual dexterity to operate tools, perform repairs, and inspect equipment.

What You Will Do

As a Facilities Maintenance Technician you will inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain equipment, machinery, and facility systems to support safe and efficient operations. You will perform preventative maintenance, diagnose equipment issues, replace worn components, document completed work, and work closely with production and operations teams to minimize downtime while maintaining quality and safety standards.

A Facilities Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing the equipment and systems that keep business operations running efficiently. This role combines mechanical knowledge, technical problem-solving, and hands-on repair skills to support reliable production and facility performance.
