Direct Hire - Maintenance Technician

Pay: $27.00 - $32.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 9:30 AM - 5:30 PM

What You'll Be Doing

As a Maintenance Technician, you'll play a key role in minimizing downtime and ensuring equipment operates safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on manufacturing equipment and facility systems
  • Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems
  • Repair or replace motors, bearings, sensors, belts, pumps, valves, wiring, and other components
  • Support facility maintenance including HVAC, compressors, lighting, plumbing, and electrical systems
  • Perform equipment installations, upgrades, and relocations
  • Utilize diagnostic tools, schematics, and technical manuals to identify and resolve issues
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records and work orders within a CMMS system
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to reduce downtime and improve efficiency
  • Follow all safety procedures, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) requirements
  • Assist with root cause analysis and equipment reliability improvements

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Strong troubleshooting skills involving mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems
  • Experience working with hand tools, power tools, diagnostic equipment, and multimeters
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Technical certification or Associate's Degree in Industrial Maintenance, Mechatronics, or a related field
  • Experience with PLC troubleshooting
  • Experience using a CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System)
  • Welding, fabrication, or machining experience

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to stand, bend, climb, and work in tight spaces as needed
  • Comfortable working around manufacturing equipment and varying facility conditions
