Pro Resources is seeking a 1st Shift Facilities Maintenance Technician for a client in Auburn, IN. The Facilities Maintenance Technician will be responsible for maintaining and repairing plant equipment and facilities, troubleshooting issues, completing preventative maintenance, and helping ensure a safe, clean, and properly functioning manufacturing environment. Shift and Compensation
1st Shift: 6-2:30 PM
Compensation is from 52,000 USD to 72,800 USD per year
Job Duties
Perform maintenance and repairs on a variety of plant equipment and facility-related systems in a safe, timely, and professional manner
Troubleshoot equipment issues to identify root causes and complete necessary repairs
Conduct daily walkthrough inspections of equipment and assigned areas
Perform preventative maintenance during scheduled run-time and downtime periods
Assist with troubleshooting production and facility-related issues as needed
Follow maintenance instructions and priorities provided by the Maintenance Supervisor
Document work through work orders and accurately track time and completed repairs
Communicate equipment and maintenance issues to supervisors, staff, and operators through verbal and written updates
Maintain clean, organized work areas, tools, and equipment
Support a team-oriented maintenance environment
Follow all safety procedures, including LOTO, Arc Flash, Confined Space, and Environmental policies
Respond to internal and external maintenance requests in a timely manner
Help identify opportunities to improve equipment reliability and overall facility operations
Background Profile
High School Diploma or equivalent required
Associate degree in maintenance or a related technical field preferred
2+ years of industrial maintenance experience
Ability to troubleshoot both electrical and mechanical issues
Hands-on approach to troubleshooting and problem solving
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Valid driver's license required for business travel
Robotic programming knowledge preferred, but not required
PLC logic troubleshooting knowledge preferred, but not required
