Description:

You will be the Facilities Maintenance Technician for the Facilities Maintenance Team. Our team is responsible for maintaining plant and office facilities, ensuring equipment reliability and safety.

What You Will Be Doing

As the Facilities Maintenance Technician you will be responsible for performing routine repairs and maintenance across plant and office environments.

Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Execute basic carpentry, electrical, and mechanical repairs on equipment and structures.
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment and facility issues, reporting findings to supervisors.
  • Interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and specifications to guide repairs.
  • Conduct routine inspections, oiling and greasing of machinery.
  • Maintain safety records and adhere to shop environment temperature requirements.

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a Secret clearance. A company-sponsored interim Secret clearance is required to start.

Basic Qualifications:

Minimum of 3 years practical experience working in facilities in a industrial environment.

Basic computer skills

Must have ability to obtain a security clearance.

Must possess valid Drivers Licenses

High School Diploma or GED

Good attendance record

Desired Skills:

Hydraulics and Pneumatics experience

Computer skills

Strong communication skills

Ability to work under pressure

Ability to work with minimum supervision

Willing to work in a shop/industrial environment (30 degrees to 120 degrees)

Must posses good safety record

Willing to work overtime when needed

Ability to lift 30 pounds with ease

Boilers License

Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
