Facilities Maintenance Technician (Chillicothe, OH):

The Nourse Chillicothe Automall is currently seeking a Part-Time Facilities Maintenance Technician to assist in maintaining the cleanliness and operation of our facilities as well as occasional construction/renovation. The right candidate will have experience with new construction and renovations, plumbing, and electrical (120/240). Compensation will be dependent upon applicant's experience and references.

Responsibilities

• Help ensure the basic functions of systems including water, hygiene, electricity, HVAC to maintain a safe environment for employees and customers.
• Assist in new building projects and renovations
• Help maintain and repair basic electrical and plumbing needs
• Assist in the up-keep and cleanliness of all buildings, inside and out.
• Adhere to OSHA building and safety requirements.
• Build necessary items upon request.
• Will perform snow removal of sidewalks and the parking areas

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver's license and an insurable driving record
• Must have a comprehensive knowledge of equipment and facility maintenance operations
• Requires mechanical skills to assess maintenance needs and make recommendations along with a basic understanding of HVAC, electricity, plumbing and carpentry.
• Must have the ability to exercise judgment, make decisions and respond to building emergencies and staff requests within a reasonable time period.
• Plan and organize work to achieve desired results and perform general handy-man type duties as required
• Be comfortable working in external and internal work environments to include adverse or extreme weather conditions.
• Must be comfortable performing multi-faceted projects in conjunctions with day to day activities. Projects may require working under time constraints to meet deadlines, extended ours and on occasion, weekends.
