6A to 2P Monday to Friday

Under the general supervision of the Mercury Project Manager and the ABM Facilities Supervisor, the ABM Facilities Maintenance position performing general maintenance for Mercury Marine at the Fond du Lac campus plants and associated Wisconsin plants.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Completes work orders utilizing Mercury''s computer maintenance management systems.
  • performs preventative maintenance and repairs to campus access control equipment which include entrance turnstiles, access gates and emergency exits.
  • Perform required inspections of systems that include elevators, fire extinguishers, and pressure vessel systems.
  • Operate a variety of maintenance equipment including drills and a variety of hand and power tools; operate a forklift and powered industrial truck (PIT).
  • Performs snow removal duties using plow vehicles and equipment.
  • Assist with minor plumbing work orders.
  • Performs other job-related duties assigned by Mercury Project Manager or ABM Supervisor.
  • Job duties and responsibilities may be modified at any time.

Job Requirements

  • Valid driver''s license
  • Operate a forklift/pallet jack
  • Ability to use knowledge of operation, maintenance and construction to maintain building efficiencies
  • Comprehensive knowledge of specific methods, practices and tools related to facilities and system maintenance
  • Ability to effectively schedule, organize, coordinate, perform work and adhere to safety measures and procedures under stress and within pressing deadlines
  • Ability to work flexible hours determined by operational and building needs
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships within a diverse environment
  • Must be able to perform all the above job duties
