Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Facilities Maintenance Technicians for projects located in and around Greensboro, NC. This is a first shift opportunity with a pay range of up to $44/hour based on experience and skill level. Job Scope:
Apply professional knowledge of facilities operations to support university and departmental goals.
Develop, implement, and manage preventive, predictive, and comprehensive maintenance programs across:
600-acre farm
240-acre campus
3.5M sq. ft. of facilities
Oversee utilities operations including chillers, boilers, steam, water, sewer, storm water, and electrical systems.
Review project plans and specifications to ensure compliance with federal, state, and university codes/guidelines.
Serve on emergency operations teams and campus committees as required.
Provide input and technical guidance to support strategic planning, growth, and efficiency initiatives.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree and 2+ years of facilities experience (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
Valid driver’s license
Multi-building maintenance experience preferred
Facilities Engineer certification preferred
North Carolina state license in Electrical, Plumbing, or HVAC preferred
Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred
APPA membership preferred
