Position Overview

We are seeking a dependable, hands-on Facilities Maintenance Technician to help maintain, repair, and support the day-to-day operation of a manufacturing facility. This is a long-term temporary position offering a consistent Monday–Friday schedule, with overtime available as needed.

The ideal candidate will have experience with facility maintenance, janitorial work, general repairs, and basic troubleshooting in a manufacturing, industrial, or similar environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on facility equipment and building systems.

• Complete scheduled preventative maintenance tasks.

• Troubleshoot and address mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and plumbing issues.

• Maintain HVAC systems, lighting, and general facility infrastructure.

• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergency repair needs.

• Use cleaning equipment and maintenance tools to keep the facility safe and clean.

• Assist with facility improvement projects, equipment installations, and other maintenance tasks.

• Maintain accurate maintenance records and work orders.

• Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and workplace standards.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in maintenance, facilities, janitorial, industrial maintenance, or a related field.

• Previous experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment preferred.

• Experience using maintenance tools and cleaning equipment.

• Working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.

• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.

• Ability to read technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints is a plus.

• Basic computer skills preferred.

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a physically demanding environment.

• Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic.
