Facilities Maintenance Technician

Pay: $20.00 per hour

Job Type: Full-Time, Long-Term Temporary Assignment

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM

Location: Onsite

Position Overview

We are currently seeking a reliable and hands-on Facilities Maintenance Technician to support the upkeep, repair, and operation of a manufacturing facility. This is a long-term temporary opportunity with consistent hours and overtime available as needed.

The ideal candidate will have experience performing facility maintenance, janitorial duties, and general repairs in a manufacturing or industrial environment.

Schedule

  • Monday – Friday

  • 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM

  • 100% Onsite

  • Overtime available as needed

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on facility equipment and building systems

  • Complete preventative maintenance tasks according to established schedules

  • Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and plumbing issues

  • Maintain HVAC systems, lighting, and general facility infrastructure

  • Respond to maintenance requests and emergency repairs in a timely manner

  • Use cleaning equipment and tools to maintain a safe and clean work environment

  • Assist with facility improvement projects and equipment installations

  • Maintain accurate maintenance records and work orders

  • Follow all company safety policies and procedures

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of maintenance, facilities, janitorial, or industrial maintenance experience

  • Previous experience working in a manufacturing or industrial environment

  • Experience using cleaning equipment and maintenance tools

  • Working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems

  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

  • Ability to read technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints is a plus

  • Basic computer skills preferred

  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a physically demanding environment

  • Dependable attendance and strong work ethic
