Facilities Maintenance Technician

Achieve More with VoltVolt is hiring for a 1st ShiftFacilities Maintenance Technicianfor a leading manufacturing facility in Hayward CA.As a Facilities Maintenance Technicianyou will Lead supervise and mentor maintenance technicians in daily repair troubleshooting and preventive maintenance activities Coordinate and prioritize maintenance schedules to minimize equipment downtime and maximize production efficiency Troubleshoot and repair mechanical electrical hydraulic pneumatic and automated equipment Oversee the maintenance repair and rebuilding of pumps motors conveyors gearboxes and other industrial equipment Diagnose and troubleshoot PLCs motor controls VFDs drives and electrical systems Inspect test and evaluate machinery to identify equipment failures and recommend corrective actions Ensure all equipment is operating safely efficiently and in compliance with company standards Review blueprints schematics electrical diagrams and maintenance manuals to support repairs and installations Manage maintenance work orders inventory parts procurement and maintenance documentation Support facility improvement projects equipment upgrades and new equipment installations Ensure compliance with company safety policies OSHA regulations and preventive maintenance programs Train coach and develop maintenance personnel on equipment operation troubleshooting and safety procedures Collaborate with production and management teams to improve equipment reliability and overall plant performanceSchedule M-F 530 AM - 200 PMThis is a Temp-to-Hire opportunity.The ideal candidate will have High School Diploma or GED Previous supervisory or lead experience in industrial maintenance manufacturing or production environments Strong experience troubleshooting mechanical electrical hydraulic and pneumatic systems Hands-on experience with PLC troubleshooting VFDs drives motor controls and industrial automation equipment Experience rebuilding pumps motors gearboxes and other rotating equipment Ability to read blueprints schematics wiring diagrams and technical manuals Knowledge of preventive and predictive maintenance programs Strong leadership communication organizational and problem-solving skills Experience managing maintenance schedules work orders and technician workloads Experience using hand tools power tools welding equipment and maintenance machinery Welding fabrication HVAC or plumbing experience is a plus Commitment to workplace safety continuous improvement and equipment reliabilityPay Rate 28hr. -35hr.
