Our client, a leading organization in facility management, is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Technician to join their team. As a Facilities Maintenance Technician, you will be part of the Maintenance Department supporting facility operations and ensuring optimal performance of building systems. The ideal candidate will demonstrate technical proficiency, problem-solving skills, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Facilities Maintenance Technician
Location: Hoover, AL
Pay: $23-$24/hr.
What's the Job?
- Operate, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair facility equipment across various systems.
- Perform maintenance and repairs on Mechanical, Plumbing, Structural, Fire, and Life Safety systems.
- Monitor equipment performance, record readings, and make necessary adjustments for optimal operation.
- Ensure safety procedures are followed, maintaining a clean and hazard-free work environment.
- Coordinate with outside contractors and oversee quality and pricing of maintenance work.
What's Needed?
- High School Diploma or Equivalent.
- 0-2 years of experience maintaining and repairing commercial building systems.
- Ability to analyze and troubleshoot Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, and HVAC systems.
- EPA Certification preferred.
- Proficiency in computer applications such as Word and Excel.
