Work Mode: OnsiteJob Summary:We are seeking a skilled Facilities Technician III to support facility operations at a catheter-based medical implant manufacturing site in Menlo Park, CA. This role is responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting facility systems in a GMP/cleanroom environment while ensuring reliable support for manufacturing operations.
The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting experience, preventive maintenance expertise, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced regulated environment.
Key Responsibilities- Perform preventive maintenance on facility equipment and systems
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical systems
- Support HVAC, compressed air, and water systems
- Maintain cleanroom infrastructure including floors, walls, and ceilings
- Respond to internal maintenance requests across multiple departments
- Coordinate with external contractors and service vendors as needed
- Support office and general facility maintenance activities
- Participate in rotating on-call maintenance support schedule
- Ensure compliance with GMP and cleanroom regulations/documentation requirements
Required Skills & Qualifications- Experience supporting GMP/cleanroom manufacturing environments
- Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
- Preventive maintenance experience
- Understanding of cleanroom procedures and documentation requirements
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- General computer proficiency
- Ability to perform minor repairs and facility maintenance tasks
- Ability to work independently within a small team environment
Preferred Qualifications- Experience supporting medical device manufacturing facilities
- Exposure to FDA-regulated environments
- Experience with HVAC, compressed air, and water systems
- Experience working with contractors and service vendors
- Prior on-call maintenance support experience
- Technical or mechanical background preferred
Interview Process- Onsite interview required
- Interview panel includes Hiring Managers and additional team members
- Approximately 1-hour interview focused on technical skills and work history
