Looking for a stable career as a Facilities Maintenance Technician and have experience?
We are seeking someone with a strong mechanical and/or electrical aptitude including plumbing and HVAC. Someone who can work with others or independently as needed to accomplish tasks.
Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, the Facilities Maintenance Technician II performs skilled work at the journeyman level for the maintenance and repair of buildings and building related equipment within County facilities.
Hours: Typical schedule 3:30pm-Midnight, Typically rotating on call every 4-6 weeks depending on availability, Overtime is required as needed.

**This position does offer $1/hour extra pay for being 2nd shift.

(may add this to our job postings)To be successful in this role candidates should show the ability to troubleshoot and repair electrical systems, maintain building systems, show strong troubleshooting skills and respond promptly to maintenance requests. Work safely and efficiently while having a strong understanding of our procedures. Candidates should also demonstrate strong communication between team members as well as different departments throughout the county.
