Facilities Maintenance Technician


Location: Lewiston, Idaho


Position Summary

Happy Day Corporation is seeking a dependable Facilities Maintenance Technician to support the maintenance of our restaurants, distribution center, and corporate facilities. This position performs a wide variety of building, equipment, and facility maintenance work, and every day brings something different.


Essential Responsibilities

·         Perform repairs on restaurant equipment and building systems.
·         Complete preventive maintenance.
·         Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and facility issues.
·         Install equipment and assist with remodels.
·         Respond to emergency service calls.
·         Complete work orders accurately.
·         Maintain a clean work area.
·         Safely operate company vehicles, tools, ladders, and equipment.
·         Communicate repair status with management.


Minimum Qualifications

·         Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability.
·         Experience in general maintenance or construction trades.
·         Ability to work independently.
·         Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
·         Valid driver's license.


Preferred Qualifications

·         Experience in electrical, plumbing, carpentry, commercial kitchen equipment, welding/fabrication, HVAC, refrigeration, preventive maintenance, or CMMS software.
·         EPA Certification or HVAC experience welcomed but not required.


Physical Requirements

·         Stand, walk, kneel, crouch, crawl, climb ladders, and work in confined spaces.
·         Lift up to 75 pounds.
·         Work indoors, outdoors, rooftops, kitchens, coolers, freezers, and mechanical rooms.
·         Safely use tools and maintenance equipment.
·         Work in varying weather conditions.
