The purpose of the class is to frequently operate light to medium equipment and perform manual labor in the maintenance of County grounds and rights-of-way; to maintain assigned equipment; and to perform other work as required. This position also includes performing skilled and semi-skilled maintenance work, including electrical, Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC), plumbing and carpentry. This class works according to procedures and reports directly to the Crew Leader, Landscape Manager or District Manager. This post has been extended.
