Villagio Hospitality Group is growing! We are seeking a talented and dedicated Facilities Maintenance Technician to join our award-winning team at 2 Silos Brewing Co. If you're a maintenance professional who thrives in a fast-paced, high-energy environment, we want you on our team!

This position is responsible for ensuring the overall upkeep, safety, and functionality of the Farm Brew Live campus, including buildings and grounds. The Facilities Maintenance Technician plays a vital role in maintaining a positive experience for visitors and ensuring a well-maintained environment for staff and guests.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Perform routine maintenance tasks on the campus buildings, including minor repairs, cleaning of common areas, restrooms, and windows, and ensuring the general cleanliness and functionality of the facilities.
• Handle general repairs on plumbing, electrical, and other building systems as needed.
• Support preventative maintenance programs and conduct regular inspections to identify potential issues and address them proactively.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies, troubleshooting issues and coordinating with contractors or specialized technicians when necessary.
• Perform regular lawn care duties, including mowing, trimming, edging, and watering green spaces to maintain a tidy and attractive campus landscape.
• Implement landscaping tasks such as weeding, mulching, planting flowers and shrubs, and pruning as needed.
• Operate and maintain a variety of groundskeeping equipment and small tools.
• Keep outdoor areas free of debris, litter, and other hazards, including clearing pathways, parking lots, and walkways.
• Perform snow and ice removal duties, including shoveling, applying ice-melt treatments, and inspecting for potential slip hazards.
• Assist with other seasonal maintenance tasks as needed to maintain the appearance and safety of the campus throughout the year.
• Perform other related duties and special projects as assigned by the Facilities Maintenance Supervisor

REQUIREMENTS:

• Prior experience in facilities maintenance or groundskeeping preferred.
• Knowledge of general building maintenance and repairs.
• Familiarity with the safe operation of small equipment and groundskeeping tools.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Valid Driver's License

EDUCATION/TRAINING/EXPERIENCE:

• High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
• 1-2 years of experience in building maintenance, groundskeeping, or related trades is often preferred

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions, including during snow and ice removal.
• Must be able to work weekends, as required.
• Physical ability to lift and carry heavy objects and perform strenuous labor for extended periods
