FACILITIES MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN

The Facilities Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining, repairing, and improving company facilities, equipment, and grounds to ensure a safe, functional, and professional work environment. This position performs a variety of skilled maintenance tasks including electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting, lighting, and general building repairs. The technician responds to maintenance requests, conducts preventative maintenance, and assists with facility improvement projects.

Schedule is Monday-Friday, 7-3:30

Hourly rate $22/hr, based on experience

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of 3 years of facilities maintenance, building maintenance, or related experience.
• Demonstrated experience in electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and general building maintenance.
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair facility-related issues independently.
• Knowledge of hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment.
• Working knowledge of safety procedures and building maintenance best practices.
• Ability to read and understand blueprints, schematics, and work orders is preferred
• Strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
• Valid driver's license required.

Preferred Qualifications

• Trade school certification or technical training in electrical, plumbing, HVAC, or building maintenance
• Experience working in manufacturing, warehouse, office, or industrial environments.
• Forklift, lift equipment, or scissor lift certification.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, climb ladders, kneel, and work in confined spaces
• Ability to work both indoors and outdoors in varying environmental conditions
• Ability to safely use ladders, power tools, and maintenance equipment
