Facilities & Maintenance Technician

The Eastwood Company a reliable and skilled Facilities & Maintenance Technician to support the daily operation, maintenance, and repair of our building systems and equipment. This role requires strong technical skills, reliability, and the ability to manage diverse tasks across the facility and grounds promoting a safe, functional and well-maintained environment for employees, customers and visitors.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on building systems
• Troubleshoot and repair, or make suggestions on how to repair,  mechanical, electrical, and structural issues,
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and facility-related emergencies
• Maintain and repair tools, equipment, doors, locks, fixtures, and furniture
• Coordinate with external contractors and vendors as needed
• Promote a safe environment
• Maintain accurate maintenance logs and documentation
• Support facility improvement projects and general upkeep tasks (painting, minor carpentry, etc.)

Qualifications

• Experience in facility maintenance, industrial repair, or similar role preferred.
• Strong mechanical, electrical, and troubleshooting skills.
• Forklift certification or ability to obtain one.

• Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Good communication and teamwork abilities
• Good organizational and multitasking skills
• Basic computer skills
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physically demanding tasks
• Valid driver’s license, preferred

Work Environment

• Schedule: typically, Monday – Friday
• May require occasional evenings or weekends
• On-call availability may be required
• Work performed indoors and outdoors in varying conditions
