Maintenance Technician

Position Summary
We are seeking a reliable and mechanically inclined Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate is hands-on, comfortable using power tools, experienced with basic repairs and equipment maintenance, and able to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment. This position plays a key role in supporting facility operations, equipment upkeep, and continuous improvement efforts.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on facility equipment, machinery, and building systems.
- Troubleshoot mechanical issues and identify effective solutions to minimize downtime.
- Safely operate hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment.
- Assist with installation, setup, and relocation of machinery and production equipment.
- Perform preventive maintenance tasks according to established schedules.
- Maintain facility appearance, including minor repairs, painting, and general upkeep.
- Respond to maintenance requests in a timely manner.
- Support startup operations by assisting with equipment modifications, process improvements, and special projects.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and work orders.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Previous experience in maintenance, manufacturing, warehouse, industrial, or startup facility environments.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
- Proficient in the use of hand tools and power tools.
- Experience working in a startup facility or helping establish new processes and equipment is highly preferred.
- Ability to read and understand basic technical documents and maintenance instructions.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Dependable attendance and strong work ethic.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and perform physical labor throughout the shift.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
- Comfortable working in a warehouse, manufacturing, or industrial environment.
- Ability to climb ladders and work at varying heights when necessary.
