Position Title: Maintenance Technician

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM

Position Summary

We are seeking a reliable and mechanically inclined Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate is hands-on, comfortable using power tools, experienced with basic repairs and equipment maintenance, and able to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment. This position plays a key role in supporting facility operations, equipment upkeep, and continuous improvement efforts.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on facility equipment, machinery, and building systems.
• Troubleshoot mechanical issues and identify effective solutions to minimize downtime.
• Safely operate hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment.
• Assist with installation, setup, and relocation of machinery and production equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance tasks according to established schedules.
• Maintain facility appearance, including minor repairs, painting, and general upkeep.
• Respond to maintenance requests in a timely manner.
• Support startup operations by assisting with equipment modifications, process improvements, and special projects.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and work orders.
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous experience in maintenance, manufacturing, warehouse, industrial, or startup facility environments.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Proficient in the use of hand tools and power tools.
• Experience working in a startup facility or helping establish new processes and equipment is highly preferred.
• Ability to read and understand basic technical documents and maintenance instructions.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Dependable attendance and strong work ethic.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and perform physical labor throughout the shift.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
• Comfortable working in a warehouse, manufacturing, or industrial environment.
• Ability to climb ladders and work at varying heights when necessary.
