Facilities Maintenance Worker - Sugarcreek Facility

Reports to: Facilities Maintenance Supervisor

Hours: Monday-Friday, 7:00AM-3:30PM

Location: 425 South Broadway, Sugarcreek, Ohio 44681

Summary

The Facility Maintenance is responsible to ensure that the building and grounds are maintained and in a good state of repair. Candidate must uphold and represent ProVia' s Purpose, Vision, Mission, and Values.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Essential Duties and Responsibilities will include but are not limited to the following:

• Maintain and repair facilities, equipment, grounds, ensuring compliance with applicable safety regulations and codes
• Perform routine inspections of building and grounds
• Oversight of buildings and grounds
• Ensure efficiency of utilities and building operational systems
• Schedule and oversee office renovations, office moves, and refurnishing
• Assist with setup and teardown of rooms for events
• Coordinate with contractors and third-party vendors when needed
• Snow removal
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Education/Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent

• Minimum 2 years of building and grounds maintenance or equivalent related functions

• Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

• Strong, organizational, and record-keeping skills

• Attention to details/follow-through

• Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing

• Basic understanding of electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems

• Able to safely operate equipment: scissor lift, skid loader, trucks, forklift, etc.

• Coachable and takes direction well

• Computer Skills

• Proficient in computer usage. Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office knowledge is desired.

• Basic familiarity with MS Word, Excel, and Outlook

• Willingness to learn other software as needed

Physical Demands

• Must be able to lift 50 pounds
• Must be able to sit or stand for a prolonged time.
• Must be able to work on a ladder up to 10 feet high
