Holy Spirit Catholic ChurchFACILITIES MANAGERReport to: Pastor Full-time position FLSA: Hourly, Non-Exempt GENERAL SUMMARY Holy Spirit Catholic Church is seeking a reliable and hands-on Facilities Manager to oversee the care, maintenance, and functionality of our church and school facilities. The Facilities Manager is responsible for maintaining the excellent condition of our buildings and grounds, developing and implementing preventative maintenance procedures and schedules, and coordinating and supervising maintenance personnel and projects. The ideal candidate will have practical knowledge and experience in general building maintenance, including basic electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, and handyman skills. The successful candidate will be a hands-on problem solver who takes pride in his/her work and is able to identify and address maintenance issues efficiently. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
COMMUNICATION AND COMPUTER SKILLS Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of leadership, vendors, employees, and the general public. Must have average computer skills, including aptitude with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook. MATHEMATICAL SKILLS Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percentage. REASONING ABILITY Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
