About the Role:

Join CBRE as a Facilities Manager supporting one of the world's largest financial institutions, serving a nationwide retail banking portfolio. This remote position is focused on supporting approximately 70 retail banking locations across the Chicago and Northwest Indiana market. The Facilities Manager serves as a key client partner, ensuring operational excellence, responsive facility support, and seamless service delivery that enables branch teams to serve customers effectively.

This role requires a candidate based in Chicago, IL or Northwest Indiana to provide portfolio oversight, maintain strong vendor relationships, and ensure consistent service levels across the assigned locations.

What You'll Do:

  • Manage facility operations and maintenance activities across a portfolio of approximately 70 retail banking locations.
  • Ensure timely response and resolution of facility issues while maintaining expected service level agreements.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for client stakeholders and branch leadership, building strong working relationships.
  • Coordinate repairs, maintenance, and service requests with vendors, contractors, and technicians.
  • Conduct facility inspections, quality assurance reviews, and identify opportunities for operational improvements.
  • Monitor portfolio performance, track work orders, and provide reporting through systems including Prism, Coupa, Excel, and other Microsoft applications.
  • Oversee vendor performance, invoicing processes, procurement activities, and budget-related reporting.
  • Support business continuity and branch operations by proactively addressing facility needs and escalating critical issues when necessary.

What You'll Need:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred with 3+ years of facilities, property, operations, or related experience; equivalent experience will be considered.
  • Experience managing multiple locations, vendors, and service providers within a distributed portfolio environment.
  • Strong customer service mindset with the ability to build trusted relationships with clients and operational stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to prioritize competing demands and manage a high-volume workload in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, and experience using systems such as Prism and Coupa.
  • Comfortable leading virtual meetings and collaborating with teams through Zoom and other communication platforms.
  • Strong problem-solving, organizational, and analytical skills with attention to detail.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel within the assigned Chicago and Northwest Indiana market as needed.

CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate's education, training, and experience. The minimum salary for the Facilities Manager position is $90,000 annually and the maximum salary for the Facilities Manager position is $102,000 annually. The compensation offered to a successful candidate will depend on their skills, qualifications, and experience. Successful candidates will also be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on CBRE's applicable benefit program. This role will provide the following benefits: 401(K), Dental insurance, Health insurance, Life insurance, and Vision insurance.
