About the Role:

CBRE is seeking a Facilities Manager to lead operations at a large-scale, industrial and manufacturing site spanning over 770,000 square feet in Clinton, TN. This fast-paced environment supports complex production processes and requires a strong leader who thrives on organization, execution, and driving strong client partnership.

This role oversees building operations, maintenance programs, and a team of facilities professionals, ensuring reliability, safety, and continuous improvement across critical infrastructure such as mechanical systems, including boilers and chillers. Success in this position requires a proactive mindset and exceptional communication skills to partner closely with stakeholders and deliver best-in-class service.

What You'll Do:

  • Lead, develop, and supervise a facilities team, including coaching, performance management, and training initiatives.
  • Plan, schedule, and oversee daily operations, ensuring efficient task execution and resource allocation.
  • Manage building maintenance and repair programs by coordinating internal teams, vendors, and contractors.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, leading meetings and resolving operational challenges collaboratively.
  • Oversee budgets, capital projects, and financial reporting, including variance analysis and cost control.
  • Conduct facility inspections and ensure compliance with all regulatory, environmental, and safety standards.
  • Drive operational efficiencies and continuous improvement initiatives across maintenance and site processes.
  • Manage vendor performance, procurement processes, and service delivery outcomes.

What You'll Need:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred with 3-5 years of relevant facilities or operations experience (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
  • Proven leadership experience with the ability to motivate teams and drive performance outcomes.
  • Strong communication skills, with confidence handling complex or sensitive discussions with stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and sustain strong client relationships in an industrial or manufacturing environment
  • Highly organized with a proactive, solutions-oriented mindset and strong attention to detail.
  • Experience managing maintenance programs, vendors, and facility systems (mechanical infrastructure knowledge preferred)
  • Financial acumen, including budgeting, forecasting, and analytical problem-solving skills.
